; Why this is a good idea
* Creates a unique profession
* Interesting blend that fits the setting
* Opens up the door for another melee class

;Why it may not work out
*No need for another warrior
<br><br><br>

Variant Blade Dancer (Discussion)
::Blade Dancers, renown for the beautiful style of their combat, rely on their endurance, skill, and cunning with melee weaponry, such as spades, dual-wielded swords, and fans to fight their enemies. While fighting in battle, the Blade Dancer can easily evade attacks while pummeling the enemy with swift, vicious attacks. The Blade Dancer's attack skills require rehearsal to unleash a flurry of dance-like swings, plowing through any opposition.
Overview
Blade dancers wear the GW2 equivalent of 70 armor, They need a free range of motion that 80 armor probably wont allow. They are designed to play three roles, support/debuff, DPS, and off tank. They have three forms of defense, the small defense from their primary attribute, a low non stacking stance, and a stackable secondary stance from their weapon attribute. This makes their profession unique because most professions use just one stance, whereas this one will use, one for your leg position, one for your uper body, and one from your natural reflex.

Rehearsal
Rehearsal is the backwards version of adrenaline. Blade Dancers are much like performers; they think of combat like they would a stage, and they prepare themselves for the fight as they would a show; rehearsal builds up before a fight, when the Blade Dancer is not using skills. In combat, as you continue to attack you either have to "wing" the fight more and more for it to build back up, or let it recharge after a moment without using any rehearsal skills, much like energy. Blade dancers will only start with 25 rehearsal.

Attributes
Dance Mastery (Primary)
Dance Mastery increases the duration of your dances and rhythms by 3% per 2 attribute levels, and your chance to block by 1% per 3 attribute levels.

Rhythm Mastery
Many Blade Dancer skills, especially those that invigorate you and your allies, and throw off the opposing team, become more effective with higher Rhythm Mastery.

Spade Dancing
Spade Dancing increases basic spade damage as well as damage dealt by associated skills.

Sword Dancing
Sword Dancing increases basic sword damage as well as damage dealt by associated skills.

Fan Dancing
Fan Dancing increases basic sword damage as well as damage dealt by associated skills.

Weapons
*Spade - melee staff with feathery decor on ends; deals blunt damage, slashing, or piercing to target and 1 or 2 adjacent foes; adds to defense. GW1 max equivalent 9-22
*Sword - dual-wielded swords; deals slashing damage to target and adjacent foes; dual wielding lacks in defense, yet possesses superior damage. GW1 max equivalent 7-26 dmg
*Fans - two small, mid-ranged, dual-wielded, Japanese-like fans; deals piercing damage or slashing to target foe; good for defense and group support. GW1 max equivalent 9-22

Skills
; Rhythm Mastery
*Rhythm of Stability: (2 Rehearsal; 1 Activation; 20 Recharge) Rhythm. For the next 2 seconds, allies within earshot will not be able to be knocked down or interrupted. (Rhythm Mastery)

*Rhythm of Silence: (4 Rehearsal; 1 Activation; 30 Recharge) Rhythm. Removes one shout, chant, echo, or anthem from target foe. (Rhythm Mastery)

; Spade Dancing
*Golden Eight: (2 Rehearsal; 4 Activation; 8 Recharge) Spade attack. Attacks target and adjacent foes eight times dealing 20% less damage with each strike. You cannot be interrupted. (Spade Dancing)

*Death Dance: (5 Energy; 30 Recharge) Elite Spade Stance. You gain an additional 10% chance to block melee attacks. Each time you block, you deal 30% of the damage back to 1 adjacent foes. (Spade Dancing)

; Sword Dancing
*Dragons Flurry: (7 Rehearsal; 2 Activation; 15 Recharge) Dual Sword attack. You sweep both swords towards target two times, dealing +5 damage and loosing 30% armor for activation. (Sword Dancing)

*Gracious Strike: (2 Rehearsal; 1 Activation; 7 Recharge) Dual Sword attack. You daze target foe for 3 seconds interrupting your target foe, but only deals 4 damage. (Sword Dancing)

; Fan Dancing
*Shy Crane: (5 Energy; 20 Recharge) Fan Stance. You gain 10% chance to block ranged attacks for 15 seconds. (Fan Dancing)

*Spin of the Dwarfs: (3 Rehearsal; 1/4 Activation; 10 recharge) You cripple your target foe for 2 seconds. (Fan dancing)
----

; Why this is a good idea
* &nbsp; Adjustments have made it a more unique profession then a warrior cop-out.
* &nbsp; Players will enjoy playing a character that makes battle an art, instead of simple blood lust.
* &nbsp; Fans would be an interesting blend into combat
* &nbsp;

;Why it may not work out
* &nbsp; With the right skills it can be OP which is the thing I fear most because OP leads to nerfs
* &nbsp; May have too many profession-only weapons; this leads to having to make new bosses to drop green weapons just for this profession
* &nbsp;
Vampires (Discussion)
Vampires have the advantage of death and would be perfect in certain builds (i.e. vampire necromancer, vampire elementalist), and also, if we are going to have pets in the upcoming Guild Wars 2, the vampires can turn into bats!

; Why this is a good idea
*Vampires will make the game more magical and fantasy
*Vampires can have an advantage of sucking blood and that takes away health
*It would be cool transforming into a bat! (with a reasonable amount of manner of course)
;Why it may not work out
*Vampires, according to legend, can only come out at night, and most areas are day all the time.
*A necromancer is already kind of like a vampire with their blood skills.
*No purpose to Guild Wars lore; make a pale character with "Blood" in their name.
*Replica: Blood Magic Necromancer with low tolerance to Smiting Prayers
Pillaging Guilds (Discussion)
Give the option for one guild to invade another guild, whether or not that guild is online. Here's how it can work:

Guilds hire NPCs. These range from all sorts of races and professions. No 'elite' NPC will be allowed - this will make things fair and balanced for each side. A maximum of 12 NPCs are allowed per guild.

When a guild invades a hall, only the NPCs will go fourth with the invasion. No players will be allowed to directly pillage the other guild hall. Instead, players will be assigned control over an NPC, and fight with a fixed skillbar with health/energy/weapons.

Players can join during the invasion, so long as there are spare uncontrolled NPCs in that battle. If the NPC does not have a player controlling them, then AI will.

If invaders have more NPCs than the defending guild, the invaders can send no more than an extra two NPCs than the defenders number of NPCs. So if the defending base has 1 NPC, then the invaders can take up to 3 NPCs. NPCs can cost around 500g to hire.

*Winning/Losing
**If the invading guild wins, they gain 500g for each NPC killed. If any of their NPCs are dead after the match is over, however, those NPCs will claim that they are 'injured' and will be inactive until the guild pays for a healer. Healing NPCs costs 250g.
**If the defending guild wins, they become popular with the people that live nearby, and the guild will automatically gain NPCs equal to the number that they had defeated. If the defending team exceeds the maximum number of NPCs allowed, then they will dismiss the extra NPCs, gaining 500g per dismissal for the guild.
**If either guild loses, all of their dead NPCs will claim that they are 'injured' and become inactive in the guild until they are healed.
**The match will run on a timer. The winner is the one with the most living NPCs after the timer ends. If it is a draw, then no gold is given out at all.

Because players can join 'during' the battle, it makes initiating an invation that much more simpler. Only one officer is needed to start an invasion, and that officer will trigger a 10 minute timer that will inform his guild, and the defending guild that an invasion is about to take place. Once the 10 minute timer has begun, neither guild can purchase NPCs until the invasion is over.

Guilds always start with no NPCs. If a guild does not have any NPCs or they are all inactive (injured) then the guild is considered to be 'deserted' and cannot be invaded.

*Customizing NPCs
When an NPC is purchased, then they will be assigned a slot from 1 to 12. Hiring an NPC will have a similar interface to that of the character selection screen of GW1, and can only be accessed by the guild leader. The user can customise the look and gender of that NPC. That NPC will always occupy that slot whether or not they are active. This allows guilds to change NPCs if they don't like them for whatever reason. This allows guilds to customize the armor and weapon of the NPC, without affecting its stats. you could hire guild guards that help you fight when youre being raided to.

; Why this is a good idea
* &nbsp; Invading guild halls is fun
* &nbsp; Can't be abused so easily
* &nbsp; Makes alternate GvG, which is good if u don't personally have the best GvG build. I think the surprise part is really good here, because u have 2 customize the NPCs so they'll survive the invasion.

;Why it may not work out
* &nbsp; People can feel iritated when they're in the middle of a mission, and their guild suddenly gets attacked.
* &nbsp; Not everyone wants PvP
* &nbsp; This idea is rude and unfair to any guilds that are PvE based
