It would be nice if honorable behavior would be rewarded and the cowardly behavior punished.
A person's dishonorable behavior, as reported to Arenanet, could have as a punishment a different aura, like the bosses of GW1, maybe or a 1 to 10 counter over the head to allert somebody to a player reported for bad behavior.
Intelligent Hard Mode (Discussion)
Why not infuse some of the challenging elements of balanced PvP combat into PvE battles? Let's see more balanced groups of enemies with warriors knocking down your healers, and mesmers interrupting your damage dealers. Maybe some rudimentary "spikes" or at least some coordinated efforts against individuals that promote the need for defense/kiting during regular combat.

; Why this is a good idea
* Allows players to exhibit their skills against intelligent enemies.
* Gives PvE'rs a better transition to the tactics and play style of PvP.

;Why it may not work out
* Designing balanced teams of AI to keep pace with the changing meta and frequent skill updates would be a huge task.
* A standard of this nature has already been implemented in GW1, it is already assumed that the bar will be raised for GW2.
* Some PvErs hate PvP and Nerfing with a passion. This is not a very motivating thing to mix the two. Serious PvErs, in general, hate all the balancing, nerfing and such. They prefer stable skills, weapons, that are reliable and keep them out of trouble. Turning PvE experience in a PvP experience, is a loosing proposition for a lot of players that are more interested in adventure than tournaments.

They should add a place like the Hall of Monuments where you can store a few sets of elite armor, this will allow players to buy new armor without worrying about storage space. They should also add this feature for weapons, and maybe even a "Rune Box" or something where you can store other items. The storage Chest could be part of the Hall of Monuments. Storage Chests could be a faisability. One for Armors, one for Weapons, and so on.
<!-- Better Storage For Everyone --> (Discussion)
Ok I think there should be some upgrades to the original storage chest idea. I believe there should be storage for all armors, weapons and collectibles. The storage will have 2 rows of tabs. Main Tabs and Sub Tabs.

Main Tabs would be like the root tab or title tab for the section of the storage you are about to use.  The Sub tabs would be the individual slots or compartments for holding items.  Example;
--------- ----------- ------------- ------
-Storage- -Materials- -Collectible- -Name-
--------- ----------- ------------- ------
---- ---- ------- ---- ---- ------- ---------
-P1- -P2- -Page1- -P1- -P2- -Armor- -Weapons-
---- ---- ------- ---- ---- ------- ---------
---- ---- ---- ----
-P1- -P2- -P1- -P2-
---- ---- ---- ----

Now Storage, Materials, and Collectible Items will be shared storage departments for all characters on the same account.

Storage Tab will just hold general what ever items (weapons, materials, overstock this and that... STUFF).

Materials Tab will be the same, though a it would be nice to rise the limit to more then 250, maybe up to 1000.

Each Character should have a tab minimum on top of the general storage. Lack of storage is a real issue in GW1 and I sincerely hope that storage will be much more generous in GW2. I think Extra storage spaces should be available and purchasable in game or at GW Stores. One can buy an extra Character slot, why not buy more storage.

Collectible Tab would be for holding collectible drops from monsters. This is part of another idea I have on uses for these in another section for more crafting features. Since collectible items are stackable, this could be done in the same way as the Materials Tab.

Character's Name Tab would be the real add on. Each character on your account would only see there name and there items. Only customizable items could be stored in these tabs. These tabs are for collectors not people wanting to horde extra perfect weapons to sell later when market changes.

Armors Tab would be set up to hold one of each piece of armor for each set available. You could have the slot flow from top to bottom (Head, Top, Gloves, Bottom, Boot). This should include the cheap sets, collector sets, and even your beginner armor, not just Elite Armor. No collection is complete without your starter set. Now the armor you place in there will be the same as when you customized it. It will keep its runes and what ever you did to it. But you can only hold one of each piece. So if you make 2 sets of the same type of armor with different mods to it, then you have put the second set some were else.

Weapons Tab would be set up in the same way. A spot for one of each weapon available in the game. The weapon can only be placed in the spot when it has been customized. I can be removed and replaced with a different one, but is only for that character. It keeps its same stats and upgrades as when you got it. This will make a boost in the market for all weapons as well mods. There will also be a seperate section for Green Weapons (or what ever your calling them in GW2).

The tabs would be upgraded with for all new items that become available through upgrades to the game. Other limitations could be place on the weapons like also only gold weapon can be placed in the tabs.

These seperate tabs could require more then just a simple 50 gold coin payment to obtain. Maybe a quest or something. Just putting it out there.

; Why this is a good idea
*Increases in game commerce.
*Makes Collector Type Gamers happy.
*Cleans up explorable areas of drops no longer picked up.

;Why it may not work out
*If you go to replace a weapon in the special weapon box its customized so you no one else can use it. Even your other characters.
I found a solution.Just make it so 'all' weapons can be placed in weapon storage 'without' having to be customized.User:MoasRule
<!-- Open Portal to Friend --> (Discussion)
The way GW2 works isn't the same as GW1 it's my understanding that GW2 will be soloable. so this means to me no party size limitations or requirment. If this is true then I don't see why you couldn't add your buddy to your friends list (or guild rouster) then right click on his name and click open portal. This would open up a portal to your friend that you can walk into and it would take you next to your buddy weahter you buddy is in an instance, town, or explorabe area. If the person is in an instance and only designed for how ever many ppl started the instance just raise the monster count, monster health, and/or monster armor.

; Why this is a good idea
* lets say you want to play with your buddy and you pm him/her to come play. But he/she says "I am vanquishing right now but after I am done I will join up with you." well the heck with that. just portal to your buddy and start playing instantly.
* Planning wouldn't be such a big deal anymore. If you were planning on doing UW or something that night you wouldn't have to say "well lets wait for INSERT BUDDY'S NAME HERE to show up before we start." You could just start then he can join up when he gets there.
* In this case the player could come in the current team and replace a Hero or a Hench without affecting the game too much.
* Weak characters joining powerful team could be easily limited with permissions like in Arenas in GW1
;Why it may not work out
* Mission/progress completion. I don't think it would be fair to be able to port into a mission that's almost complete that that user needs and kill one guy and get a mission/quest completed. However if that person joined in at 5 mins on a 1 hour dungeon I think it's fair to give him the completion. To solve this problem you could have completion indicators that tell you how far the party is along in the mission/quest/dungeon and if they are past a certain point it would give the guy createing a portal a message saying somethig like this "Party is past point of mission completion. Do you want to continue?" this lets the user know that they won't get credit for the mission.
* Another potential problem would be a level 1 trying to portal to a level 60 in the level 60 area. well that level 1 guy is just going to be a nuisance for the team. he will die contantly and provide almost no help to the party. To solve this problem you could have portal area's meaning you have had to been to those places before/ or at least that map section. if the user hasn't been to this spot yet give them a message like "Party is out of your portal reach." Letting the user know that they need to get further along before they can portal to that spot. HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, SIDEKICK SYSTEM.

Real musical instruments (Discussion)
The musical emotes (/guitar, /drums, etc.) are very nice. In addition, I'd like to see musical instruments (that actually make sound) emulated on the skill bar. It would work similar to the way the Junundu worm or Ursan Blessing replaced your entire skill bar. One instrument per skill bar, so you'd need to play with your friends for the whole band. It would be a version of an iBand instrument for hand-helds simplified to 8 (or however many) skills of the GW skill bar. That conversion to only 8 skills would take some creativity to still represent the range of the instrument. But simplifying would make it accessible to a lot more people. And it's just for fun.
* The number one problem: we'd lose the peace and quiet of popular cites and areas if everyone could bang on their instrument whenever they want--in the same way as Local chat can be filled with nonsense, but we'd have to hear it.
*:Possible solutions:
*:# Add it as an extra channel like "Ambient Noise" or "Music" that can be turned off in Options.
*:# Ability to disable Local music quickly
*:# Easy way to mute individuals
*:# Only hear music from those in your group, guild, etc.
*:# Attenuate the sound with distance. So the music doesn't travel very far anyway and you can walk away from noise polluters.
*:# Prohibit music in areas people are required to go.
*:# Limit the number of instruments allowed in a certain area the way minipets are in towns.
*:# Have instruments as a reward for a certain quest, or perhaps collectible items.
