GW2 - Dragons Call(Discussion)
That is just a wierd idea, after reading some of the suggestions.
There are a lot of people I think, who would like to play Tengus, Undead, Nagas, Centaurs, Demons, etc. which are mostly on the evil side of play. But that wouldn't be the right place for the heroic GW2.
Buuuuuut it could be, after finishing GW2, a possible expansion (for example called "Dragons Call") where you can play the other side. With other quests, or the same from the other side...
Also, there could be some creatures which aren't also on either side (animals and insects, Minotaurs, Hekets, Imps, etc.)

Also, with the expansions there would be more PvP possibilities

Code wouldn't be that big problem, cause there would be the same skills, only other races in the look-a-like so there would only bigger mods for the style and characters, but the enginge and alot of the maps would stay the same.
The world would be already created (except the towns and outposts of the "dark side")
Quest ideas could be enough through the story of the normal game or through some characters

ATM there are alot of areas which aren't possible to explore or are "forbidden" to the players through barricades etc. and I think, there will be some in GW2, so that would be nice places for the evil towns etc.

Also there could be some time in the future, where there could be some GvE (Good versus Evil) like the PvP in GW1 with Kurzick and Luxon, only in bigger cathegories...

; Why this is a good idea
* Player could get the bad-asses too
* The world exploration would be fun again (even if you know it from the normal GW2)
* new quest, new story, old enemies ;)
* alot of things for it will already exists (weapons and equipments, maps, skills, etc.)
* world events influences (GvE battles inflicts dragon events or something like that - so battles could prevent events or start them)
* it could be connected to the normal GW Account (GW1 need to be connected to the GW2 Account or HoM would be useless...)
* So many things I can't think off ;)

;Why it may not work out
* Too much to control (there would be needed definitive a team only for that side)
* BALANCING! I don't know if there would be balancing for one side or for both sides
* It would take more time for each title expansion (GW2:Factions and GW2:Nightfall -> GW2 Factions: Demons Call and GW2 Nightfall: Palawa Jokos Battleforce)
* some things I don't think of...

Okay, that Idea is not for GW2 like it will show up, but it is an idea for the next step! Maybe it needs its own place ;) But if it is a good idea, plans for it can now more or less be easily integradet!
I don't like the idea like different areas like in WoW, but the evil side would be more in the underground (Story says, that the asura flee from the evil in the ground to the surface) so there would be a perfect place for it :)
...also it would be a save place for character generation!

Accessories (Discussion)
Guild Wars was missing things to complement your traditional headpiece + torso pieces + gloves/boots set-up. Reason why I didn't put this into the armor section was because of the very thing Guild Wars was missing: accessories! Earrings, rings, belts, pendants, charms, bracelets - You name it: they weren't there.

I think we've played enough RPGs to know what I mean: "Earrings of ____" which give you +2 energy unconditionally, and so forth. And we don't have to make it like all those other intricate RPGs -- it can be as simple as a Final Fantasy accessory system (1-3 accessories equipped and you're set).

; Why this is a good idea
* Additional fine-tuning to a Guild Wars that lacked some fine-tuning (i.e. compete with WoW!)
* Accessory bonuses don't hurt.
* Makes for interesting opportunities to obtain relics, treasure, etc. that can actually benefit you!

;Why it may not work out
* Affects the economy, maybe negatively.
* More variables to add, more time to finish the game, more loading time as well...
* Rendering the accessories so you can see them with your armor might be restrictive for the devs, and for us, in the long run.

----

Effect Accessories (Discussion)
Accessories, such as necklaces, rings, and bracelets, can be worn as an addition to armor rating, enchantment casting, or health or energy boosts. Like helmets and capes, their display is optional.

Further into the idea, some jewelry may be linked to elite skills and areas (i.e. "Skill has no effect unless wearing <accessory name>"; "You cannot enter this area unless <accessory name> is worn").

To link suggestions with Guild Emblems and Tags, some accessories - with as much armor rating as a festival hat - could be your guild's emblem and colors.

; Why this is a good idea
* Can offer a greater degree of character equipment options beyond type of armor (insignia).

;Why it may not work out
* Jewelry would add extra bonuses already supplied by max armor and runes.

----

Inprints Accessories (Discussion)
Accessories, such as necklaces, rings, and bracelets, have inprinted spells, but not with charge counters (like in diablo for example) they should act like signets.
There could be also non-character spells on it (like a ghost or a skeleton ranger)

; Why this is a good idea
* It would make funny skill-builds
* it can help lower class players in PvE (like the FireImp)
* It wouldn't bring the balance not in any troulbe, if the imprints would be lower level (like a level 10 Golem)

;Why it may not work out
* Jewelry would add extra code in the memory (don't know how well that would be if some party has 20 jewelerys)
* Maybe gameplay would be affected to heavy
