Bone Idols come in two distinct appearances:
- Hooked: The generic skin. Available as drop, from weaponsmiths, or from collectors in in all campaigns except Prophecies.
- It is also the skin available to all PvP characters as focus item tied to Soul Reaping.
- Horned skull: The rare skin exclusively found as drop in all campaigns.
- A promotional version with predetermined stats tied to multiple Necromancer attributes, only accessible through an access key for pre-orders of Guild Wars Prophecies purchased from CompUSA in North America.
