View source for Holy damage

Holy damage is a damage type strongly associated with and inflicted by many Monk Smiting Prayers and Dervish Mysticism skills, as well as several other skills. It is also inflicted by wands and staves linked to the Healing Prayers, Protection Prayers, and Smiting Prayers attributes, Hourglass Staff linked to the Restoration Magic attribute, as well as the unique Divine Favor wand Stormray, Anniversary Hammer "Verdict", Anniversary Staff "Unveil", Decade Staff "Astral Pillar", Decade Staff "Dragon's Inheritance" and Decade Staff "Spirit's Absolution".

Game mechanics
* Holy damage received is increased by Tormentor's Insignia.
* Creatures that have Undead sensitivity to Light take twice the listed amount of damage. These are mostly undead and Necromancer minions.
* Most skills that directly deal holy damage are also armor ignoring.
* Holy damage from weapon attacks is not armor ignoring, though unlike physical or elemental damage there are no armor bonuses against it.

Trivia
*Prior to the May 25th, 2007 update, wands and staves inflicted light damage rather than holy damage, which was functionally identical to the attack damage type holy damage.
*Judgment Strike was added to the game with the 22nd April 2020 update as part of the 15th Anniversary Celebration.
