== Walkthrough ==
''Gwen '''cannot''' be in your party; NPCs will not offer you relevant dialogue and the spirit attackers will not [[spawn]].''

Start the quest by speaking with Lieutenant Thackeray (located in Ice Cliff Chasms, immediately outside of Eye of the North) then visiting the Hall of Monuments to speak with Gwen. Talk to Thackeray again and then head to Olafstead to talk to Valgar Tempestcrafter, who asks you to meet him in Varajar Fells. You can walk from Olafstead, but the easiest route is from the [[Central Transfer Chamber]] through the [[Battledepths]] (unlocked after completing [[Destruction's Depths]]). Regardless of the route, be cautious once you cross the opening into the target area: [[Shock Phantom]]s will [[pop-up]] along the way.

After arriving at the spot, you will need to defend Lefsi against the spirit attackers. There are six waves of enemies, spawning in three groups: to the northwest, west and southwest of the circle of stones. Each new wave spawns immediately after defeating the previous one. The spirits tend to target Lefsi first — since his death causes the quest to fail, bring heals or protection that affect allies, e.g. [[ritualist]] spirits or have at least one party member prioritize keeping him alive. It helps to spread out within the rock circle to avoid AoE damage or interrupts.

Once completed return back to Eye of the North and speak to Lieutenant Thackeray, then back to Gwen and back to Lieutenant Thackeray for the reward.
