From Haversdan, follow the road southwest along the river. Before the bridge to Ashford Village, turn south and follow the signs into Regent Valley (which is another explorable area). Continue south along the road past non-hostile Devourers to find Master Ranger Nente on a small rise.

Dialogue
Initial dialogue
;Haversdan
:"Becoming a good Ranger requires extensive training in a number of different skill techniques. To begin the learning process, seek out Master Ranger Nente in Regent Valley. If you follow the road southwest from town and pay attention to the signs, you shouldn't have any trouble finding Regent Valley. Master Ranger Nente will be along the road."

Reward dialogue
;Master Ranger Nente
:"If you're serious about your studies, I can teach you the basics of Beast Mastery. The care of an animal companion is one of the most valuable skills a Ranger can develop. After you have learned something of this, you may wish to seek out other trainers to learn new skills."
Pre-Searing Quest nav
