As proved in GW1, not owning expansions is a major disadvantage. I would like it so that you would not have to buy expansions to receive new content such as skills, classes and items. This would not make newer expansions pointless in buying because they continue stories and give new explorable areas.

; Why this is a good idea
*  Allows players to be equal to other without requiring expansions in other words not being at a disadvantage due to no expansion.

;Why it may not work out
*  May result in less sells.
*  Less reasons to want to buy expansions.
*  Anet stops selling GW because it's "unprofitable".
