The idea is that you have Counter Strike-like messages that can be issued at the touch of a key, and which can be heard in your headphones:
-- "Enemy spotted."
-- "Need backup."
-- "Storm the front."
-- "Stick together, team."

; Why this is a good idea
* Adds to convenience of PvP.
* Potentially adds to humor (depending on what messages are available).
* Messages are clearer (you hear them; you don't have to keep one eye on the chat window).

;Why it may not work out
* CS-like commands are stylistically inappropriate as they stand -- too modern, too military, etc. They'd have to be reworded to be practical.
* I think that there should be only 1 of these messages, "READ TEAM CHAT!!!!!!"
