=== "Wilderness" [[ArenaNet_talk:Guild_Wars_2_suggestions/Wilderness_Idea|(Discussion)]] ===

Have public areas outside of towns/outposts that allows players to freely attack anything that moves.
Players can have a sort of PvP with no real preparation. Different zones for different skill levels. A character vs. four times it's level isn't good.
When they die, they simply are resurrected and can venture back if they wish.

; Why this is a good idea

* It creates interest in the game once the storyline has been beaten.
* Rewards could be given (possibly titles) depending on how well you do in the wilderness.
* Creates a more unstructured PvP which is more friendly to the new player.

; Why it may not work out

* Contradicts the use of arenas.
* Maybe swamped with guilds and develope more into chaos then anything.
* All ready going to be World PvP.
*way to much like runescape
* Go home Runescape idea.
* I thought most gw players joined gw to get away from crapsack games like runescape
* runescape is for phonies
