[[User talk:Isaiah Cartwright/Assassin/Genreal Ideas about Assassins#<!-- assassin -->|Discussion]]
; Issue
: <!-- Some Ideas about the Assassin's future -->
; Suggestion
: <!-- Dear Izzy,
in the last few weaks the assassin suffered a lot from several nerfs which had been the result of some too effective spikes (like the A/D oder D/A).
On Wartower.de, a german elite-fansite, we were a bit angry, because a lot of good builds had been destroyed.
Your last statement was to take a closer look on the assassins.
I, and of course no one can, cant imagine if you are go to buff or nerf shadowsteps in future.
a lot of steps are destroyed, and i play without them.
but the nerf of fox promise showed us, that the assassin is only used in /D spikes with scythes.
Generally, we want to buff the common dagger-sin.
Our first ideas had been, that you have a minimum of attribute-points on the attribute, to use the shadwostep (like orcan of the elementalist), otherwise it fails.

I thought about the situation, and i have 3 different assassins for you:
a)600+ dmg, 20s or more recast, self-stoppable step (aura) and a sure death of the target.
b)250+ dmg, a fast combo, no step. its more pressure
c)300+dmg, middle recharge with "features" like interrupts and enchantment-removes (shattering assault), no step

in my and other opinions, b) and c) must be the future of a team-played assassin.
both are quite good alone AND in a team. you can make quite good builds around them.

To make some skills mor common, we need buffs, of course.
But, my idea was, to give skills like desperating strike a damage of maybe 30, AND, while health is under x-xx, THEN you make xx mor damage.
These features would make a common-dagger-sin more effective and a teamplayer (my build i use to play in pvp: [A/W;OwFQMmIbEckHRiojorFD])
you can act on the left side, but you are able to switch to the right to kill a target the warrior can't.
More i cant remeber (sorry^^), but if you have questions, you have my ingame, and i will try to answer them.
So long
