New page

Guild Wars Prophecies
The Ascalonian migration is the event in which many Ascalonians traveled through the Shiverpeak Mountains to resettle in Kryta. The migration began with Prince Rurik being banished from Ascalon by his own father, King Adelbern. Rurik decides to follow his own plans and head through the Shiverpeaks to make passage into Kryta, after the Krytans offer to house Ascalonians to save them from the Charr, and many Ascalonians follow him on the journey.

During the journey, the Deldrimor Dwarves aided the Ascalonians in their passage with shelter and additional protection against the Stone Summit. Despite the support, Prince Rurik was killed in the Frost Gate by Dagnar Stonepate, the leader of the Stone Summit, but the rest of the Ascalonians successfully made it to Kryta, ending the migration with the founding of the Ascalon Settlement.
