* Ash Blast does not count as a hex spell unless it hits a burning foe. Skills that check for hexed foes (e.g. [[Soul Barbs]]) or skills that trigger when the user casts a hex spell (e.g. [[Elemental Flame]]) do not trigger if Ash Blast does not hit a burning foe.
* If used with [[Glyph of Immolation]], the burning triggers first, thus meeting the requirement to apply the hex spell on the target.
