== Notes ==
* The caster receives the Death Penalty reduction when the hexed foe dies, regardless of who delivered the killing blow.
* If you kill a [[boss]] hexed with Asuran Scan, the order of effects is to your favor. You will first lose 5% Death Penalty and then gain the [[morale boost]].
* This hex only applies to attacks that would be [[block]]ed and attacks affected by [[Blindness]] or skill effects that cause attacks to [[miss]]; it does not prevent hits from [[Line of sight|straying, being obstructed, or being dodged]]. It also does not prevent [[fail]]ure due to unmet requirements, e.g. [[Oath Shot]] will still fail 50% of the time if [[Expertise]] is below 8, and [[lead attack|lead]], [[off-hand attack|off-hand]], and [[dual attack]]s must still be executed in the correct sequence.
* This is the only hex without a specified [[activation time]]. It casts instantly, but it has an [[aftercast delay]] and cannot be used in mid-[[action]].
