* Both the full and concise descriptions fail to note that the [[target]] is also blinded.
* [[Normal mode]] [[foe]] [[AI]] will use this skill on any target, including a target that is not knocked down; they will not wait to use this skill on a knocked down target even if they have a skill that can cause knock down (e.g. [[Grawl (Shiverpeaks)|Grawl]]). [[Hero]] and [[hard mode]] foe AI will only use this skill on a knocked down target.

== Trivia ==
* One of the few skills that tries to explain its effect ("...the resulting dust cloud..."). In the past many skills were described in this way, but the introduction of [[Concise description|concise skill descriptions]] led to most of them being removed. Before Prophecies was released in 2005, the skill described blood spatter rather than a dust cloud. The skill was then also called 'Belly Rupture' instead, as mentioned by an alpha tester in the Photics e-zine Issue #5<ref>https://photics.com/issues/issue05.pdf</ref>. Similarly the target had to be "on the ground."
