In every [[GvG]] battle, the defending and opposing teams have a bodyguard to serve them and their [[Guild Lord]]. Both teams will usually attempt to defeat the bodyguard before moving on to the Guild Lord. This is mostly due to the bodyguard's ability to heal the Guild Lord, making him much harder to take down.<br />

Like all GvG NPCs, the bodyguards do not respawn. Due to their ability to heal the Guild Lord and because they only have 480 health, keeping the allied bodyguard alive is a top priority during battle.<br />
