Head straight to the West and walk along a narrow path on the right. When reaching the marked point you will find several Charr Overseers and Martyrs there. After killing the Overseers first, the Martyrs second and finally the other Charr, you can click on each dead soldier lying on the ground. Each body holds a family crest (needs a slot in your inventory). After collecting 10 of them you can travel back for the reward.

Consider doing this alongside Supplies for the Duke to give the nearby Charr additional targets.

Dialogue
Initial dialogue
;Undertaker Cortis
:"With all of the recent battles, I haven't the time to retrieve all of the family crests identifying the fallen soldiers. I could certainly use some help in this regard.
:Will you investigate the battlefields and return 10 family crests to me?"

Reward dialogue
;Undertaker Cortis
:"Many thanks for your help. With the information you have brought, coupled with my own efforts, I can compile a casualty report for Warmaster Tydus."

Notes
* The storyline of this quest continues in Casualty Report, even though Casualty Report can be completed before this quest.
