{{TOCright}}[[Skill type]]. A [[Form]] is a type of [[skill]] type that temporarily transforms the user into a powerful figure with special abilities or qualities. When a form ends, any current actions are [[cancel]]led, i.e. [[auto attack]] and [[movement]] will cease and skills will stop activating and/or be removed from the [[skill queue]].

== Common forms ==
; Dervish forms

The five [[elite]] dervish forms are notable because they can be maintained indefinitely, because they are [[disable]]d for 45 seconds after successful activation, and because they are especially effective using [[Teardown]]s. These forms change the appearance of the user. They will be removed when cutscenes start, but not recharged.

; Norn blessings

Norn blessings are [[Pve only skills|PvE Skills]] available after completing certain [[quest]]s for the [[Norn]]. Each form lasts for 60 seconds, markedly improves health and armor, and transforms the user's skillbar into one appropriate for the form. Each can be manually ended by using the [[Totem of Man]].

Norn blessings available to the player do not change the appearance of the user, but the Norn themselves use [[Bear Form]], which does.

; [[Wintersday]] snow fighting

During the [[Dwayna Vs Grenth]] mini-game, players have access to two other forms: [[Avatar of Dwayna (snow fighting skill)|Avatar of Dwayna]] and [[Avatar of Grenth (snow fighting skill)|Avatar of Grenth]]. These forms have a fixed duration of 30 seconds and disable themselves for 60 seconds. The dervishes in the [[Secret Lair of the Snowmen]] also use these skills.

; Bonus mission forms
During [[Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack|the bonus mission]], [[The Flight North]], the player assumes the [[Gwen (disguise)|Gwen]] [[disguise]] and is able to use two form skills, [[Hide]] and [[Feign Death]].

==Notes==
* While in a form that replaces your skill bar, a [[Morale Boost]] will not recharge your [[Resurrection Signet]].
* If you enter a [[cinematic]] while in a form, your form will be removed and will still need to be recharged.

== Trivia ==
* The Norn blessings were changed into Forms as part of the [[game updates/20080807|August 7th, 2008 update]].
* The elite [[Shadow Form]] and [[Mist Form]] are the only player skills with the word "form" in their names, but they are both [[enchantment spell]]s, not forms.
