Dialogue
Year of the Pig
:"All this talk of pigs and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a pig when you could simply eat it? If it is like any of the pigs I have encountered, I doubt it would be offended. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks they create here."
Year of the Rat
:"All this talk of rats and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a rodent when you could simply eat it? If it is like any of the rats I have encountered, it's nothing but a filthy nuisance. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks on display here."
Year of the Ox
:"All this talk of oxen and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a beast when you could simply toss it on the fire for a barbecue? If it is like any of the cattle I have encountered, it must be tasty! I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks on display here."

Year of the Tiger
:"All this talk of tigers and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a giant cat when it can hunt for itself? If it is like any of the felines I have encountered, it prefers its meals killed fresh! I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks on display here."
Year of the Rabbit
:"All this talk of rabbits and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a hare when you could simply eat it? If it is like any of the bunnies I have encountered, its flesh is succulent! I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks here."
Year of the Dragon
:"All this talk of dragons and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a dragon when you could simply eat the banquet yourself? If it is like any of the dragons I have encountered, it has bad breath. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks here."
Year of the Snake
:"All this talk of snakes and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a serpent when you could simply eat it? If it is like any of the snakes I have encountered, its meat is lean and good for the heart. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks on display here."
Year of the Horse
:"All this talk of horses and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a four-legged beast when you could simply ride it instead? If it is like any of the horses I have encountered, a bowl of grass and some oats is all it desires. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks they create here."
Year of the Sheep
:2015
Year of the Monkey
:"All this talk of monkeys and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a primate when you could simply tame it like a pet? Have you ever seen a dancing monkey before? Now *that's* entertainment. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks they create here."
Year of the Rooster
:"All this talk of roosters and celestial beings confuses me.... Why prepare a feast for a small bird when you could simply eat the meal yourself? Roosters, unlike Tengu, aren't picky eaters. I must say, though, I have never seen anything quite like the fireworks they create here."

Year of the Dog
:2018
All years
::gold I did not realize Tengu participated in the Lunar Festival.
:::"Most do not. We have little to do with the trappings of human culture. However, it seemed worthwhile to come here myself and determine the true source of all the enthusiasm surrounding this event. I cannot imagine so many humans getting so excited over something if there is truly nothing to it."
