The [[Guild Wars In-Game Store]] (formerly called "The Guild Wars Official Store"), introduced in the [[Game updates/20060728|July 28, 2006 update]], was an Internet store for [[ArenaNet]]'s ''[[Guild Wars]]'' related products, accessible by the client itself, from the [[character selection screen]]. It offered additional [[campaign]]s, [[character slot]]s and other upgrades. All purchased goods were automatically added to the [[account]] that had been used to log into the store, so there is no physical shipping at all. There were several methods of payment including credit or debit card. The Guild Wars In-Game Store was removed in the [[Feedback:Game updates/20140626|June 26, 2014 update]] and clicking the "Enter Store" button minimized the game client and opened the [https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/Store.pl?dnv=1497440042&action=toggleCategory&mode=open&category=4&language=en Guild Wars page on the NCSOFT Store]. After the [[Feedback:Game updates/20140627|June 27, 2014 update]], it was changed to open the [https://store.guildwars.com Guild Wars Online Store], which is the Guild Wars page on the NCSOFT Store relocated to the official Guild Wars website.<br />

On [[Feedback:Game_updates/20260209|February 9th, 2026]], a new version of the in-game store was launched with a "grand opening" on February 12th. This new store uses Steam as a billing provider and is only available to people who login via the Steam client (i.e., without an email address). The new version of the store only sells upgrade items - Eye of the North and the Bonus Mission Pack are purchasable directly from the Steam store and not in-game. Currency conversions from US dollars are handled by Steam.<br />
