A private mailing list (address purposely withheld) is set up for ArenaNet staff and some sysops/bureaucrats. This is a general list of topics discussed there.

* Mar 23: Discussion on the legal ramifications of GFDL 1.2+. (Issue brought onto the wiki at [[Guild Wars Wiki talk:Copyrights#License choice]])
* Mar 27: A potential security threat is brought up. (Issue brought onto the wiki at [[Guild Wars Wiki talk:User page#Custom skin remote links]])
* Mar 28: Moving of current issues onto the wiki and keeping the community informed of mailing list topics? Result: yes
* Mar 30: Is it necessary, from ArenaNet's POV, to remove potential copyright violations from article histories? First brought up [[User talk:Rezyk#Reverting vs deleting copyvio edits|here]]. Answered [{{fullurl:User talk:Emily Diehl|diff=76313&oldid=75579}} here]. Community discussion [[Guild Wars Wiki talk:Copyrighted content#What about articles that are partially an obvious copyright volation?|continued]].
* May 22-25: Discussion of a possible recognition system for GWW contributors. Tabled.
* June 1-3: Continued discussion of some security issues that started [[Guild_Wars_Wiki_talk:Deletion_policy#R4_proposal_-_Interwiki_redirects|here]]. Mostly just a conversation between [[User:MisterPepe]] (who is not on the list) and [[User:Rezyk]], with everything cc'ed to the list. Ends back on the wiki with: [[Guild Wars Wiki talk:Deletion_policy#R4 proposal - Interwiki_redirects|continued discussion about limiting interwiki redirects]], [[Guild Wars Wiki:Bots|bot policy starting to be drafted]], and [[Guild Wars Wiki talk:Requests for technical administration#Rate limits|a proposal for rate limits]].
* June 22-24: Discussion about a wiki bug brought up at [[User talk:Emily Diehl/Wiki discussion archive#Undeletable page]].
* July 5-9: thoughts about bans, and where such discussion should occur
* July 9: (Rezyk was removed from the list per his request, and Dirigible was added.)
* July 14-26: A potential security issue was brought to the attention of the mailing list, continued on the wiki at [[GWWT:TECH#Spam control]].
