== Game Update Notes Authorization ==

Hi, I couldn't find where else to submit feedback, so I hope here is okay. Can we get an easier way to see who posted the update notes? Obviously today's update caused a stir, and I don't think I should have to navigate to the below page and scroll right to the bottom to find that the author of the post is legitimate. They should be visible straight away on [[Game_updates|this]] page.

On mobile it is visible, but I am surprised to find that the desktop site does not show this info.

:After some consideration, made some back-end changes to ensure that game updates can only be posted by authorized users. Can't guarantee that the most recent edit of an update doesn't change things*, but such vandalism usually gets reverted pretty fast.

:The long story short is that GWW doesn't have a dark mode, and it would be nontrivial to implement here as it would require editing every infobox template on the wiki (which would likely cause some server issues while those changes propagate across thousands of pages). All the profession icons, such as [[File:Necromancer-tango-icon-20.png]], have a redirect to their respective profession article. However, they don't actually redirect but go to the regular file page. Article redirects, such as [[Prophecies]], work for me. Is that just me (Firefox) or what's going on? :I don't think those can work as redirects just as files, they'd need to be specifically posted as link images such as done for example on [[Template:Skill point]]. This would look like <nowiki>[[Image:Necromancer-tango-icon-20.png|Necromancer|link=Necromancer]]</nowiki> to show up as [[Image:Necromancer-tango-icon-20.png|Necromancer|link=Necromancer]].
