In January 23, 2008, the [[Howling Shield]] name was found inside the [[Gw.dat]], in the now defunct GW Guru forums. It's unknown if this weapon was going to be implemented or if it's a name variation of one that already exists. A user suggested that perhaps it was the original name of the [[Guardian of the Hunt]], or a [[unique]] version of it. No one from ArenaNet has ever confirmed or denied information about it.<br />
