* In pre-Searing, three things set this boss apart from the others:<br />
** Unlike the other Charr bosses, his spawning location does not change.<br />
** He is not standing on the altar like the three other bosses, but at the bottom of the stairs leading to it. He is usually the first encountered by the player.<br />
** There are no other Charr of the same profession (elementalist) in the Northlands, which also means he is the only foe that can [[drop]] [[Item rarity|purple]] elementalist weapons. <br />
