==Walkthrough==
Korshek's group includes several [[Roaring Ether (Vabbi)|Roaring Ether]]s and at least one other [[Djinn]]. There are also up to three satellite groups, each consisting of more Djinn and Roaring Ethers. In hard mode, [[Ruby Djinn]] can hit ''very'' hard with [[Liquid Flame]] (over 200 damage) and Korshek follows with [[Searing Flames]] which can deal over 250 damage against 60 [[armor rating]] characters. This means, even with no [[death penalty]], the entire [[party]] can be [[wipe]]d in two to three hits, as these are [[AoE]] attacks. Consider getting the [[Shielding Branches]] blessing from the [[Melandru's Watcher]] outside of [[Tihark Orchard (outpost)|Tihark Orchard]] to reduce the damage caused by Korshek and Ruby Djinn.

; Countering Searing Flames
There are several techniques to effectively counter [[Searing Flames]]:
* Bring skills that [[interrupt]] or inflict [[Dazed]].
* Use [[Frigid Armor]] to prevent being set on fire.
* [[Signet of Humility]] will prevent ''Searing Flames'' from being cast; [[Diversion]] will [[disable]] it for an extended period.
* The boss will quickly kill itself while hexed with either [[Pain Inverter]] or [[Spoil Victor]].

; Other skills

* [[Ward Against Elements]] or [[Ward Against Harm]] will reduce the elemental damage.
* [[Winter]] converts all elemental damage to cold damage, which deals more damage to Ruby Djinns.
* [[Extinguish]] and [[Breath of the Great Dwarf]] remove [[Burning]] from all party members.
* [[Frozen Soil]] will prevent the Roaring Ethers from using [[Resurrection Signet]].
* The ethers are the only [[fleshy]] foes in Korshek's group, so it does not help much to bring skills that cause [[Bleeding]], [[Disease]], or [[Poison]]; similarly, skills that exploit [[corpse]]s are ineffective for this battle.
