- Rangers ALWAYS use bows even when attacked in close combat. My idea is to make rangers have a melee weapon slot in their inventory(maybe in the offhand position) and when the ranger is charged at melee he will automatically switch to a melee weapon until he is far enough to use a bow. Ofcourse the melee of the ranger will be a bit weaker then the damage of his bow or the damage of other melees.
