Life Infusion's Issue -- 03:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- Makes nearly everything counterproductive to faster recharge due to high energy cost unless you run 14-15 expertise and 5 energy skills. Keep in mind this is on a character that has 3 pips of energy regen (1 energy per second) meaning even if skills recharged instantly you are bounded by energy since this increases energy costs astronomically.
- Not many skills benefit from this, other than d-shot (which means you are probably better off running Magebane+D-shot than running this). Belly smash (if you run hammer bash thumper with no pet...), mokele smash (adrenaline on as little as 5 cooldown), Irresistible Blow (perma knockdown on blocking characters)/Swift Chop (deepwound on characters that doesn't overlap)/Furious Axe [adrenaline from block meta], Critical Chop (interrupt on as little as 4 recharge...not as scary as d-shot/savage), Disrupting Lunge/Savage Pounce/Bestial Pounce on essentially as little as 3 recharge, Pounce, and Bestial mauling. You are more likely to use this with Assassin dagger attacks that give back energy, than Ranger attacks. You could probably pull of cyclone axe/crude swing with zealous weapons, but why bother?
- High expertise means your other attributes will be either moderate, or nonexistent (Expertise+ one attribute or Expertise +multiple attributes at moderate levels)
- Needs moderate expertise (9) to get more than 50% recharge. Flourish [8 recharge] /Onslaught/ Serpent's Quickness (right before the skill is used) would work better in most cases if you are willing to give up Mending touch (/Mo) from secondary.
- Suggestion
- "Attack skills gain only 50% benefit from expertise [2%], you lose 2 energy every time an attack skill is used [prevents abuse with adrenaline attacks in conjunction with energy attacks]" instead of +150% energy cost, which is better than a 5 energy skill costing nearly 40% more even after expertise.
- There's only one 25 energy skill, concussion shot [5 recharge means why bother cutting it down]. There's only one nonelite 15 energy attack, Pin Down [15 recharge which means you should just run Cripshot]. Both don't really benefit from this skill. Changing this skill to this new description would not hurt these two expensive skills as much, but hurt the 5 energy skills that are balanced by recharge more compared to the current state.
- Change to stance so that it can be exited in addition to the above and decrease the top end to 50% recharge if necessary (akin to the Mantra of recovery issue).

Elite Preperation. For 5..15..27 seconds your Bow Skills cannot be Blocked, move twice as fast and cost 100% more energy. Expert's Dexterity ends if you miss.

Pluto's Issue -- 00:00, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- Makes rangers too good at a role they're theoretically not supposed to fill.
- Solution
- Make it a preparation. Turns it into an elite version of rapid fire and lowers the damage a bit (you can't use read the wind). Also can be interrupted then.
