Update March 2, 2026

  • Guild Wars will now always run from the executable directory it was started in rather than trying to run from the "installed" directory as specified in the registry.
    • This helps players keep their first-party ArenaNet login install and a Steam install separate.
  • Fixed a bug where you could complete the A Bastion In the North quest even if Devona died.
  • Disabled access to the Shrine of Godly Accoutrements for PvP characters.
  • Disabled the highlight effect on the new start mission button for certain mission types (such as Guild Battle).
  • New start mission button won't capture mouse clicks when disabled.
