Notes
- Intensity's area of effect damage triggers on one elemental damage packet done by a spell after Intensity is activated.
- The concise description is correct; untargeted spells such as Inferno can still trigger Intensity.
- High damage packets from spells such as Fireball, Rodgort's Invocation, Lightning Orb, Lightning Surge or Lightning Hammer are usually better to optimize intensity's effect.
- Try to target foes with the lowest armor rating, typically casters and foes affected with Cracked Armor.
- Conjure spells do not trigger Intensity (nor does any non-spell source of damage, such as attacks, regardless of damage type).
- The damage ignores armor.
- This skill can be activated while moving or activating a skill; you can also use it after you cast the spell to be intensified if there is a delay between the end of the casting and the damage packet, e.g. Meteor Shower → Intensity.
- Outside of elementalist skills, high elemental damage is mostly found in Death Magic (Deathly Swarm and Icy Veins being of note), and Spawning Power/Channeling Magic (Rupture Soul, Spirit Rift and Destructive was Glaive being of note). Some PvE skills are also eligible, namely Snow Storm and (combined with other effects to convert it to elemental damage) Ebon Vanguard Sniper Support.
Trivia
- The functionality of this skill has changed since its introduction; see its skill history for details.
