The Gw.tmp file is a temporary file that is created during the update process. All updates are downloaded into this file first and then compiled into the Gw.dat file on the next start. After the changes have been applied to the Gw.dat, this file is emptied. You can delete this file, although it will always be recreated when the client checks for updates.
