Hokusai the Beetle Designer changes your Rollerbeetle Racer and Racing Beetle designs.
Locations
- The Battle Isles
- Rollerbeetle Racing (outpost)
- Zaishen Menagerie Grounds (only for accounts that have unlocked Racing Beetle; near Emryd the Tamer)
Dialogue
- "For a small fee I can change how your rollerbeetle looks. After all, it is not whether you win or lose, but how awesome you look while racing, that matters.

- Once purchased, a design is permanent and will always appear on your Rollerbeetle Racer and Racing Beetle's shell until you decide to purchase a different one.
- Your Rollerbeetle Racer and Racing Beetle's base color changes randomly upon entering an instance; it is not related to the design and there is currently no way to choose a color permanently.
- Similar to Racing Beetles and other animals in the Zaishen Menagerie Grounds, he will spawn immediately (without having to rezone) upon unlocking the Racing Beetle via Helena.
Trivia
- Salome states that the patterns on a rolling Rain Beetle inspired Hokusai's designs.
- Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker.
