Walkthrough

The entrance to the temple is east from Reng Ku's location. Inside there will be two mantids. Killing a mantid will cause another to spawn. After five mantids have been killed, the Queen Mantid will drop down. Kill it and return to Reng Ku for your reward.

Reng Ku

This task will test your ability to utilize minions effectively, not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things.... Anyway, the nearby temple has been infested with mantids that should prove a fairly simple task for you. Their queen mother, however, might be a different story. Eliminate the nest and return to me.

 Accept: "I think I can handle a few mantids."

 Decline: "No thanks. This sounds like a lesson I can live without."

 Ask: "Look, I do not honestly care what you do, but if you wish to graduate, get inside and get busy. Return to me when you have killed all the mantids and their queen."

Bug.If this quest is accepted while the Festival Event Quest A Strange Request is active, the quest marker will not appear in the minimap and progress will be halted. Finish or abandon the Festival Event Quest first prior to attempting this quest.
