The spirit of a long dead Human, Ang the Ephemeral now serves as a Ritualist trainer at the Shing Jea Monastery. He has no memory of who he was in life, but his appearance strongly suggests he was an Ascalonian soldier.

Dialogue
To Ritualists
- "Do not be afraid. I am Ang the Ephemeral, a Ritualist trainer. I have served Master Togo and the monastery for some years now, though time does not pass for me as it does for you, so I am not certain how long exactly.... In any case, I am here to assist in your training.
- What would you like to learn about?"
To non-Ritualists
- "Do not be afraid. I am Ang the Ephemeral, a Ritualist trainer. I have served Master Togo and the monastery for some years now, though time does not pass for me as it does for you, so I am not certain how long exactly.... In any case, I do not think I can help you, since you are not studying the Ritualist arts."
