The Awakening Ceremony is a Kurzick ceremony where volunteers sacrifice their human forms to become Juggernauts. Evidence supports that they retain their original personality after the transformation and being a volunteer of this ceremony is considered a high honor among the Kurzicks.
The Awakening Ceremony is performed by the Tree Singers who sing the Songs of Arboreum and is watched over by the Baron of House Vasburg. Outsiders hardly ever get to view the Awakening Ceremony, and as such, not many people know of its existence outside the Kurzicks.
