A Celestial Compass is a small, flat, disc-shaped focus item which floats above the wielder's hand. The body of the focus is a metallic disc composed of four intricately etched pieces which float together. These sections encircle three softly glowing, light blue symbols, and are themselves ringed within a circle of runes which glow the same light blue. The focus is animated with the symbols spinning within the disc and with the blue glow of the runes and symbols growing and fading; the outer circle of runes does not spin.

Acquisition

The Celestial Compass can be found:

Core

• The Battle Isles
  • Isle of the Nameless
    • Zaishen Chest
• The Underworld
  • Underworld Chest

Dye

Dye affects the compass' floating disc. The disc's edges will be tinted to the color specified and the inner design will become lighter or darker. The glowing blue runes are unaffected. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.

The concept art for this focus

• This focus is based on the winning design of Anthony Lopes, from the Design-a-Weapon Contest held in 2007.
• This item's designer, Anthony Lopes, also won the design-a-weapon contest in 2005 with his entry, the "Gavel of the Nephilim."
• The skin of the Celestial Compass is quite similar to the Norn Hunting Party Rank 4 image.
