• Destroy the Charr expeditionary force in Norrhart Domains.
• See Artificer Mullenix for your reward.

Walkthrough

If leaving from Gunnar's Hold, avoid the first few Charr groups you see and run north following the green arrow until you hear the Charr Wardkeeper dialogue, "Humans! Hierophant Burntsoul was right! [...]" Now you can start killing off the three groups at the starred location on the compass. Head south to find two more sets of Charr waiting for you to aggro them. Pull back onto the top of the ramp, wait for the Charr to ball up on the bottom of the ramp, and use area of effect skills to take them out. If they run away, wait until they return and repeat for any stragglers.

"We've got a problem, <character name>, and this one is big! Our scouts have sighted a Charr expeditionary force coming this way through the northern passes. Unless we get lucky, we'll be up to our knees in fur within days. With our main forces scattered throughout the Charr homelands, [sic] we have no hope of defeating this force ourselves. Will you and your friends find those Charr and defeat them? They were last seen marching south through the Norrhart Domains near Gunnar's Hold."

 Accept: "Killing Charr is what I live for."

 Decline: "But they have sharp fangs, and molars and...stuff!"

 Ask: "Destroy the Charr expeditionary force in the Norrhart Domains. Do not let them gaze upon the Eye of the North."

Intermediate dialogue

"Humans! Hierophant Burntsoul was right! Those foul creatures are operating out of the Norn lands!"

"Tear their limbs from their bodies. Impale their skulls on our pikes. Leave no human alive!"

Reward dialogue

"You survived! I feared those Charr would show up with your skulls impaled on top of their pikes. If they had found our base here at the Eye of the North...well, the consequences are too dire to imagine. We owe you a great debt, friend."

Notes

• In normal mode, the low level Charr from this quest do not count as enemies for the Norn Hunting Party blessing.

Trivia

• The dialogue from the Charr Wardkeeper mirrors the dialogue in The Great Northern Wall where the player says "The Charr invasion force. Captain Calhaan was right.".
