Chkkr Brightclaw is a Mantid boss found in a small lake in Melandru's Hope. It may appear alone, but when attacked, other Mantids spawn around the edges of the lake.

- If vanquishing this area, the mantids that spawn around Chkkr are easily avoided. If you stand at the top of the stairs located near this boss and attack him with a longbow, you can actually pull him to the top of the stairs to be safely killed away from his group.
- There are a few monsters with very similar names, possibly a family name within the game.
