We continue to exercise the content tool chain. Today we're proud to show you our latest experiment.

Bastion in the North Quest — A new quest is available in pre-Searing for Reforged Mode players. Talk to Ben Wolfson after rescuing him in the Northlands.

New Start Mission Button — To address a common player progression problem in Prophecies, we've moved the Start Mission button from the party menu to a more visible location at the top of the screen. You can customize the placement of this button with the UI customization tools in the Options panel.

Reforged Mode for Factions and Nightfall Characters — Reforged Mode is now available for new Factions and Nightfall characters. You can opt into Reforged Mode during character creation for non-Prophecies campaigns. Currently, Reforged Mode affects only skill training costs in Factions and Nightfall campaign content. While there are no balance changes to Factions or Nightfall, this allows you to create a Factions or Nightfall character as a Reforged character and take that character to Prophecies.

Godly Accoutrement Shrines — New shrines are present in major cities (Ascalon City, Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center, and Kamadan) that allow you to make changes to your covenants after character creation.
- Characters with Dhuum's Covenant can abandon it. Only characters who have never died may opt into Dhuum's Covenant.
- Characters who started with Melandru's Accord at character creation can abandon it. Melandru's Accord still cannot be taken after character creation.
- Characters can opt into and out of Reforged Mode. The Reforged Mode badge will be applied to any titles where any progress toward that tier was made in Reforged Mode.
- Important Note: Reforged Mode is currently in Alpha. When fully released, we intend to enable Reforged Mode for new characters by default and switch the option to "opt out." We will eventually retire the Reforged badge and introduce a new Veteran badge (or similar name) for characters not opted into Reforged Mode, applied retroactively. The Veteran badge will only appear on titles where all progress toward that tier was made without Reforged Mode. This approach allows us to release opt-in Alpha-level code for players to experiment with while we verify the tool pipeline. We continue to monitor adoption of Reforged Mode.

Makeover Vendor in Pre-Searing Ascalon City — A new NPC, Gilderoy Le Fleur, is now available in pre-Searing Ascalon City. He accepts Makeover Credits and Extreme Makeover Credits, allowing you to change your character's appearance earlier in the game — before reaching Anatomical Engineer Llye in the Great Temple of Balthazar. Credits can be purchased from the Guild Wars Online Store, accessible from the character select screen.

The Friends List panel verbiage for adding a friend has been changed to "Input name here to add a friend." To ignore a player the verbiage was change to "Input name here to add a player to ignore."
