Dialogue

Initial dialogue

Keeper Kauniss

"I know who can help us, <character name>. His name is the Apostate. He dwells in the Gate of Fear. He was a follower of Abaddon. I am sure he will have knowledge pertaining to the Hunter."

 Accept: "We'll seek this person and learn what we can."

 Decline: "We'll not consort with Abaddon worshipers! Send someone else instead."

 Ask: "I urge you to speak with the Apostate. Surely he will know about the Hunter."

Intermediate dialogue

Apostate

"What is it? The Hunter and the Pack.... Yes I know of them. You've gained the attention of some very powerful beings there. If you are careful, or stronger than you look, you can kill members of the Pack. The Hunter...well the Hunter is a much more powerful being. You see, he's never truly dead. If you beat him down, he will wait until danger has passed and then regenerate and begin the hunt anew. He cannot be killed. Now, if that is all you require of me, I ask to be free of your presence."

"What have you learned? The Hunter is invincible? I was worried about sssuch a thing. But at leassst we know that he can be evaded."
